Q

Explain the relationship between cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems.

A

Cells are the building block of all living organisms. Once cells differentiate they become specialized cell types. These specialized cell types come together and form a tissue. These specialized tissues then join together and form a specific organ. This organ functions in a specific way with other organs, thus, termed an organ system.
