Q

What are the two omenta and what do they connect?

A

The greater omentum is a prominent peritoneal fold that hangs down from the greater curvature of the stomach anterior to the transverse colon, to which it is attached.

The lesser omentum attaches the lesser curvature of the stomach to the liver superiorly.
