periosterum: contains your nerves and remodels your bones
What is the 2nd layer of bone and what are it features?
compact bone: contains collagen and is the second strongest material in your body!
What is the 3rd layer of bone and what are it features?
spongy bone: contains marrow and absorbs shock
What are the two kinds of marrow and what do they do?
red bone marrow: makes red blood cells| yellow bone marrow: stores up lipids (fats)
