15
Q

Tibial motor nerve to the Abductor Hallucis

A

S1 - S2 roots
Sciatic nerve -> Tibial nerve -> Medial plantar branch
G1 is placed anterior and inferior to the navicular
Reference on first MP joint
Stimulate 8 cm proximally and then again at popliteal fossa

16
Q

H reflex equation

A

( a x 0.46) + 9.1 + b +/- 5.5 = range that the H reflex should lie within

a = distance in cm between the popliteal fossa and superior medial malleolus

b = 1/10th of pt’s age in years

17
Q

H reflex

A

S1 efferent and afferent
G1 is placed midway btw calcaneus and popliteal crease
G2 is placed on calcaneus
Stimulate the tibial nerve at the popliteal fossa

18
Q

Muscles innervates by the Anterior Interosseous Nerve

A
  1. Flexor Pollicis Longus
  2. Pronator Quadratus
  3. Lateral two Flexor Digitorum Profundus fascicles
