41
Q

42
Q

Main reasons that cause muscle health to be impaired?

A

Overuse

Underuse

Bad Posture

Trauma

Emotional Stress

43
Q

Reasons muscles become overused?

A

Repetitive motions

Bad posture

Exercise

Poor core muscle strength

44
Q

Reasons muscles become underused?

A

Sedentary lifestyle

Bad posture

Injury

45
Q

Muscle health and emotional stress

A

Stress and anxiety cause stimulation of the nervous system

The heightened nervous system in turn stimulates the muscular system

This results in contractions within the muscle tissue. This is called Neuromuscular Hypertension

The body adapts to these changes and the contractions remain, even when stress is not present.

46
Q

Number of vertebrae

A

Cervical - 7

Thoracic - 12

Lumbar - 5
