The name given to vessels which drain blood from the gut tube to the heart.
Vitelline vein: drain the gut tube and its derivatives. Along with the umbilical veins and cardinal veins, they drain into the atria via left and right sided horns.
The name given to the vessels which drain from the placenta to the heart.
Umbilical vein: The vein does drain the placenta but it is carrying oxygen rich blood from the placenta.
The name given to vessels which drain blood from the body to the heart.
The blood from the body of the embryo drains into anterior and posterior cardinal veins which merge into a common cardinal vein that then drains into the atria via right and left sided horns
