What is anaphylactic shock
A
A type I IgE-mediated hypersensitivity reaction that triggers the release of histamine and other mediators, leading to capillary leak, wheezing, cyanosis, edema (larynx, lips, lids, tongue), and urticaria. It is more common in atopic individuals.
