In the third stanza, the men were entering the battle. In the fifth stanza, what was left of the men were leaving the battle.
Why did the author not mention the names of the soldiers or commander?
He was not very fond of them. For example: The author describes someone making a mistake in a poem that honors the Light Brigade.
