Despite inspector seeming fake, she still holds responsibility
Knows it was a collective murder, everyone participated

Like sheila, remains responsible despite non existence of inspector

Trying to move on and pretend it didn’t happen

Finding reasons to believe Inspector Goole wasn’t real
Like Mr and Mrs birling, he isn’t trying to avoid and cover the entire situation
