1) Put other people at ease (refer to people by name warmly)
2) Be inclusive (did you ignore anyone?)
3) Make people feel better about themselves when they are in your presence

1) Know who you are and what your values are
2) Know what your top 4 - 5 values are and model them often
3) Use straight-talk, self-confidence, and simplicity
How do you demonstrate personal warmth?
1) Show a genuine interest in those around you
2) Do not be excessively formal

How do you demonstrate presence?
Focus your energy on the audience. Have a stage presence. Look like you are enjoying the experience. Great performers have it. Great teachers exemplify it. And all great communicators speak from this place.
When we are fully present we do our best work and make our deepest impression on others. In that state, we’re not too focused on ourselves nor overly concerned about what others think.

Ability to stay cool and poised under fire. Courage! Know what your triggers are so you can keep these under control. Men and women with executive presence have honed their ability to handle whatever cards they’re dealt without losing grace.

Ability to stand in front of a group of customers, peers or employees to deliver key company messages with clarity, confidence and poise. It’s a fundamental skill for anyone who aspires to have executive presence.
