The French and Indian War because it put Britain in debt and they then taxed the colonists because they would benefit from the land won in the war. The Boston Massacre because it angered both the colonists and the British and riled things up. Lastly, the pamphlet Common Sense, written by Thomas Paine influenced the colonists to break away and become their own nation.

Provide and explain three events/actions that were religiously motivated between the reign of Henry VIII and George III.
King Henry VIII created the Anglican Church and became the head of it because the Catholic Church wouldn’t let him get divorced and remarried. Bloody Mary persecuted puritans because she wanted to bring Catholicism back to Europe. Parliament kicked James II off the throne because they didn’t want their rulers to be Catholic.
