what were the causes for the revolution

  1. navigation acts: these acts stated that for certain shipping goods had to go through England which made the a lot of money 2. the seven years war: the American and British combined to defeat French colonies in Canada and America than after Britain started to demand tax from America to keep their troops their 3. more tax - Quartering act (local towns had to provide housing and food for any British soldiers based their) - stamp act (Americans had to have newspapers and legal documents stamped which costed money) - (No taxation without representation) - (Americans believed that Britain had no right to impose taxes which turned into said slogan)
