Causes and outcomes of the French and Indian war?
Cause: Britain and French fighting over the area of Ohio River valley. Outcome: NA got displaced and the French lost the war so they had to give up their land to the British.
Albany Plan?
Places 13 colonies under one government as a whole.
Proclamation of 1763?
Prohibited British colonists from settling west of the Appalachian Mountains
George Washington in French and Indian War?
George Washignton led the British in the war against France.
What was the Stamp Act?
Stamp Act: puts taxes on every piece of paper including a deck of cards
What was the Townshend Act?
Taxes on everything not from colonies
What was the Boston Massacre?
A small fight between the colonists and british soldiers because of taxes.
What was the Boston Tea Party?
Colonists throw the tea that the king from Britain had sent into the sea to show that the colonies won’t pay taxes for tea
What was the Role of Women during the boycott?
The women would help make things like clothes because the townshend acts would tax colonists for anything not made in the colonies.

He helped lead battles as a general for the patriots against Britain.
What were the goals of the First Continental Congress?
Their goal was to talk about what they should do about King George. They decide to send letter to him expressing their concerns

A secret group that revolted against British rule and taxation
Define a Patriot
A colonist that did not agree with Britain’s rule so they decided to revolt.
Reason of battle of Lexington and Concord?
The British thought that the Colonists had ammunition and supplies, so they sent troops to try and destroy it.
Significance of Battle of Lexington and Concord?
First main battle of AR
Outcome of Battle of Lexington and Concord?
Colonists won 93 colonists died and 300 British died.
Goal of Second Continental Congress?
To make the continental army
Reason of Battle of Bunker Hill?
The colonists hear that the British will control the hills.
Significance of Battle of Bunker Hill?
The British won the battle but they did lose more troops than the colonists so in some ways it was a morale booster.
Outcome of Battle of Bunker Hill?
The British win but for the colonists it was a morale booster. The British lost 1054 soldiers and the colonists lost 450 soldiers.
Role of Women in the AR, how did they contribute?
Helped by running farms and businesses, some tried to uplift the army by following them and nurturing them (camp followers) some were spies for the colonies.
