Battles of Lexington and Concord
In the first two battles of the revolution - Lexington - 70 colonists stood up to 700 British soldiers, 8 died - Concord - First American Victory

The colonists positioned right outside of Boston, the British advanced three times and finally took the fort but with a lot of casualties
