Congress wrote the Articles of Confederation to unite the 13 states into a confederation. The document named the new nation the United States of America.
Why do you think the American Revolution changed the way people viewed slavery?
Colonists went from being against “taxation without representation” to being for the right of all people to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”. These ideals that drove the Revolution eventually led to the end of slaver
