1- emergency banking act ( all banks closed for 4 days, only properly managed banks allowed to reopen)
2- beer act (end of prohibition and tax on beer)

4- alphabet agencies ( government agencies set up to carry out work of the new deal)

1- Federal emergency relief act- money to states to run projects to help poor, unemployed and starving (soup kitchens, temp homes)
2- civilian conservation corps- work in countryside doing conservation work (2.5 million unmarried men)
2- national recovery administration- promoted improving working conditions, end of child labour, fairer wages & prices (declares unconstitutional by Supreme Court)
