Q

How was newspaper effective

A

What role did newspapers play? Well back in those days people relied on the newspapers to get information to people. Personal televisions did not exist either so newspapers were the best way to do it. So newspapers would fill their columns with pro-war articles that could be about how the soldiers training is going, to how many war bonds were sold.
