A

Developmental history
Sexual charateristics - breast buds, pubic axillary hair, growth spurts, menarche
Medical history chemotherapy, cancers ie tumours, drugs, chronic disease, coeliacs, urinary issues, absent smell
Family history of primary amenorrhoea
HEADSS assessment

Outline examinations findings you might look for in a patient with primary amenorrhoea?

A

Appearance - short or normal stature.
Short stature look for certain causes - turners, trauma, intracranial tumours, hydrocephalus, empty sella syndrome.

Normal stature look for certain causes
hypothalamic dysfunction, chronic illness, anorexia, kallmans, prolactin, thyroid, primary ovarian issues, vaginal, galactosaemia.
