Elastic stockings & SCDS

Continuous Passive Range of Motion device (CPM)

- To keep the patient’s skin from rubbing on the frame and becoming irritated, sheepskin is usually used to pet the cradle and any other Hard surfaces that might touch the leg

- Partial weight bearing
- Right crutch forward then left foot forward
- Left crutch forward then right foot forward

- Cannot bear weight on one leg
- Move both cructhes forward with weight on the unaffected leg
- Move affected leg forward shifting weight in the crutches
