Taditionally, distintion between
* Patent Ambiguities = face of will, required resolution within four corners of the instrument
* Latent Ambiguities = Not apparent from a reading, allow extrinsic evidence

Modern Approach = no distinction, extrinsic evdience allowed. If cannot be resolved, gift goes to residue
