What is the target altitude set to?
A
- Cleared/planned altitude
- Airspace limit
- An LSALT during unrestricted descent
- Instrument approach altitude (IAF or next limiting altitude or altitude at completion of MAP or onwards cleared altitude)

When are altimetry checks conducted?
A
- Anytime aircraft departs a level
- Descent at FL150
- Transition level
- A100, A050 and every 1000ft thereafter (not during instrument approach)
- 1000ft prior to assigned level
- 200ft prior to MDA/DA

What is the RADALT set to for a 2D approach?
A
- 250ft with a FAF
- 400ft without a FAF or when intending to circle

What must be stated when the RADALT alert is triggered?
A
- Instrument approach, below LSALT/MSA and not visual - “acknowledged, missed approach”
- IMC or night not within runway splay - “acknowledged, climbing”
- During IFR circling and visual with terrain - “visual, continuing”
