Involves being yourself out for a specific piece of work most common in areas such as journalism it is becoming more popular in other sections
Freelance
Jobs are only available during a specific time of the year for a limited time . Ex strawberry picking
Seasonal
For an individual to be successfull in this style they must be excellent self managerscondmfident and determined. This style involves individuals who develop market and deliver their own goods and services
Self employment
The length of the job is specific for a period of time. Once that specific job is over the individual must apply for another job to work on
Short term
Amount of work you may get is unpredictable you will be working for various employers job opportunities will be found for you from a larger company that you are registered with
Temporary agency worker
Requires strong time management skills as this involves a worker holding down multiple jobs at the same time
Multiple jobs
Individuals who do well in this setting usually do not have work as their primary focus in their lives involves working less than 30 hours per week under the same employer
Part time
This style results in longer work days but more days ifffir the workers typical 40 hour work week is condensed into four days
Compressed work style
This style requires a high level of confidence and trust as partners will share work responsibilities and duties of one job
Job share
Conditions are mutually agreed upon between employee and employer to create alternate arrangements with regards to working hours locations or patterns of work
