A
It’s a FAR 121 rule based on the selection of an alternate.
-1 hour before and 1 hour after
- 2000’ ceiling
- 3 SM vis

A
This is an OpSpec for alternate airport selection
- 1 hour before and 1 hour after
- 1,000’ ceiling
- 2 mile vis
(Not authorized if thunderstorms are forecasted within the hour of ETA) - Must have CAT II or CAT III
- cannot be used as Dual Alternate

FO Takeoff and Landing Minimums
A
TO: TDZ and Rollout 1,000 RVR or greater.
LDG: vis 1/2 mile or RVR 1800 or greater.

FO Landing and Takeoff minimums less than 100 hours
A
- Vis greater than 3/4 mile or 4,000 RVR
- X-Wind limited to 15 knots
- Braking action good or better
- No RWY clutter
- No Reported Wind-shear
- No Special Qualification Airports
