skin patch test
positive result- redness + swelling at the site allergen was applied. removed after 48hrs, results read by dermatologist after further 48hrs

A
blood test for specific IgE antibodies to particular substance
used for allergies to food, drugs, venom + some types of asthma (0 negative- 6 strongly positive)
