How to make Epi “push pressor”
Allergic reaction
Mix 1 mL (0.1 mg) Epi 1:10,000 concentration in 9mL saline (to make 100 mcg/10mL)
Epi “push Pressor” administration rate:

BP:
Push 0.5mL (5mcg) IV/IO at a time
Push slowly and after BP checks (every 1-5 minutes) to titrate a systolic BP of 90 mmHg
Use caution administering Epi to what patients?
Over 40 years old or with cardiac history
Diphenhydramine (Benadryl)
