What youth development did your resiliency day effect?
Social, emostional, physical, lintellectual
What were your two subjects about?
First for social development we talked about the way texting messaging can be misunderstood and can create some holes in a relationship we also talked about what can happen in texting and why could be a problem and showing some examples.
Second subject we talked about was emotional development part of our subject was about media so arm we discussed about photo shop and body image we tried to give an idea the world around us and what we can do about it we also showed a video that listed many photoshop facts.
What are the dimensions of health?
Physical, social, mental/intellectual, spiritual
What is the physical development ?
The changes that relate to people sizes and shapes and therefore body structure .
What is social development ?
The increasing complexity of behaviour patterns used in relationships with other people .
What is the emotional development ?
Refers to the feelings that moods and ways in which people express understanding and exercise control over them.
What is intellectual development?
The ways in which people are able to think and reason
What is the law that allows local council to know who the new babies are in the area?
The child well-being and safety act
How much does the Child health nurse service cost the parents
Nothing.
How long can a parent get access to the service ?
Until 3 to 3 1/2 years
What does the nurse talk about in an appointment ?
They talk about the parents and the baby as a parent stress and how they experience infill can affect the way they are raising the baby .
What recordings are made of a baby’s health during a session ?
Phil, look, touch, check on hips, small, shoulder problems, heads size, weight, colour of their poop, ability to track, test the hearing,
What are the critical ages do the parents bring their children in for a check by the health nurse?
Two weeks, four weeks, eight weeks, four months, eight months, 12 months, 18 months, two years, 3.5 years,
What if parents need to answer questions but haven’t planned for an appointment for several months ?
In this case go to the doctor at their closest GP.
What are some long term effects from shaking?
Permanent brain, damage learning disabilities, Coma, behaviour disabilities, development delays, seizures, blindness, deafness and paralyse, and sometimes even death .
