What are Monomial
Term with only one variable term (x or y)
What are Binomial
A term with two variable (x+y) or x+x2
What are like variables Properties of like variables
Like variables are variables with same degrees, they can be added, subtracted, multiplied and divided
eg - x+x = 2x
What are Polynomial
A term with more than two variables (eg - x+x2+x3+x4)
What is Associative property in algebra
(a+b)+c can be written as a+(b+c)
(ab)c can be written as a(bc)
a*(b+c) is equal to
ab +ac
when do you reverse inequality (>=)
If you multiply the inequality by a negative sign, you reverse the inequality
What is GCF
Greatest common Factor,
when needed to compare two numbers, do prime factorization and get the numbers out, multiply them thats the GCF
Fundamental Theory of Arithmetic
All natural numbers are either prime numbers or expressed as a product of prime numbers
What is Prime Factorisation
Prime factorisation invloves breaking the number into possible prime numbers
