A math expression with 2 terms ( x+3)
- Complex Conjugates

A number that doesn’t change
- Cubic
A polynomial with a highest exponent of 3
- Degree
The highest exponent in a polynomial
- Difference of Cubes
A formula used to factor expressions
- Dividend
The number or expression being divided in a division problem
- Divisor
The number or expression that divides another number /expression
- End Behavior
The way a polynomial graph “behaves” as x approaches positive or negative infinity
- Factor by Grouping
A method of factoring polynomials by grouping terms and factoring out common factors
Factored Completely
A polynomial that is broken down as much as possible into simpler polynomials
Finite Differences
A method used to determine the degree of a polynomial by looking at the differences between consecutive outputs
Leading Coefficient
The coefficient of the term with the highest exponent in a polynomial
Linear
A polynomial with a highest exponent of 1
Local Maximum
A point where the graph of a function reaches a peak in a certain region
Local Minimum
A point where the graph of a functions reaches a low point in a certain region
