Exchanging player's higher denomination cheques for lower (e.g. 2 green for
10 red). Cheque change of $100 or more requires approval.
Money/Cash plays
A player betting currency instead of cheques. Approval required.
Money/Cash Plays to the Limit
A player has been an amount of cash which appears to be
close to, or over the table limit. Approval required.
Cheques Play
bet of any combination of cheques which exceeds $100. Approval required.
Cheques Play To The Limit
Approval required.
Foreign Cheque Action
A player has bet or requested to bet a cheque from another casino.
Approval required.
Black action
Black ($100) cheque(s) being played. Approval required.
Black Going Out
Black cheque(s) being paid. Approval required.
Card/Cheque Down Inside/Outside
A card or cheque dropped inside or outside of the pit
area. Approval required for card - Do not proceed until the card has been retrieved. Alert for
cheque.
Color Coming In
A player wishes to exchange lower denomination cheques for higher
denominations, usually when the player is leaving the game. Approval required.
Color Up $XXX
After bringing the color in, breaking it down on the shuffle pad and bringing
out the higher color, but before actually handing it off to the player. Coloring up over $100
requires approval.
Double-Down For Less
Player is doubling for less than his original bet. Alert only.
Double-Down On A Hard
Player is doubling on a hand, the outcome of which
could be a breaking hand. Approval required.
Splitting Aces - One Card Only
Alert to the player, letting him know that only one card is
allowed on split aces.
Marker Request
A player has requested casino credit. Proceed as directed by the supervisor.
Approval is required for all marker/credit transactions.
Mark $Xxx For Double-Down/Split/Insurance/Etc
A player has requested a courtesy marker
to cover one bet only. Approval is required for all courtesy markers (also called table
markers).
Marker Paid/Marker Down
Lets the supervisor know that a table marker has been paid. Since
the supervisor will be there throughout the entire play, this is an alert only.
Insurance Open
Advises the players that the insurance bet is now available (anytime the
dealer has an ace as his up card). Alert only.
Insurance Closed
Advises the players that the insurance bet is no longer available. Alert
Insuring for Less
The player has placed an Insurance wager of less than half his bet. Alert only.
Even Money
A player has exercised the option to be paid even money on his blackjack when
the dealer calls for insurance, instead of taking insurance or waiting for the 3 to 2 blackjack
payoff. Alert only.
Shuffling
Announced whenever the dealer is about to begin shuffling in a multi- deck shoe
game. Approval required.
Rolling Or Shuffle Check
The dealer has completed the shuffle and is about to roll the decks
on their side in preparation for placing them in the shoe. Approval required.
Dealer Cut
All players have declined to cut the cards and this action must now be completed
by the dealer. Alert only.
Cheque in the Rack
A player's cheque has rolled into the rack inadvertently, and you are
retrieving it for the player. Alert only.
Outside
The dealer wants to leave his position at an empty table to straighten up the chairs,
etc. Approval required.
