No, a review of airworthiness must have been completed within 365 days
Under what circumstances may a pilot complete maintenance on an aircraft?
When the pilot:
Holds a type rating for that aircraft
Have been trained by a certified engineer
Have permission to do the work

Record any defects
Have a valid license
Check flight limits have not been adversely effected
Can you carry a passenger on an operational flight test?
No, no other persons are to be carried apart from an engineer
