Lidocaine and Opioids, reduce stimulation from intubation and limits increase in ICP

What are the indications for intubation of a patient?
A
- Failure of ventilation or oxygenation
- Inability to maintain or protect the airway
- Potential for deterioration based on the
patient’s clinical presentation - Delivery of treatment
- Patient saftey and protection (if C-spine + Agitated)
