Cotton tapes can be changed to velcro tapes one week post surgery
What is the measurement for tracheostomy securement?

What is the normal parameters for cuff pressure?
20 - 30 cmH20
What is the consequence of cuff pressure <20 cmH2O
oropharyngeal secretions drain into the lungs
What is the consequence of cuff pressure >30 cmH2O
higher than the capillary blood flow to the trachea and therefore will result in a trahceal pressure injury
What is anaphylaxis?
