Most airways

What are the dimensions of a MATZ?
Circle 5nm from reference point (usually centre point of main runway) 3000ft tall (surface up)
Stub 5nm long 4nm wide 1000ft from surface 2000ft tall
What are the 2 ATCC’s?
London ATCC (Swanick) Scottish ATCC (Prestwick)
What are ‘Restricted Areas’?
Restricted airspace in accordance with specific conditions
What are ‘prohibited areas’?
Flight of aircraft is prohibited
What are ‘danger areas’?
Activities dangerous to aircraft may exist at specific times.

What are ‘provost marshall areas’?
Areas of airspace prohibited or restricted in accordance with specific conditions - RAF Provost Marshall
