Class B boundaries:
Typically 10,000 MSL, but individually tailored for each airports needs.

Class A boundaries:
18,000 MSL up to and including FL 600
Class B operating requirements:
ATC clearance 2 way radio contact with ATC Mode C transponder Private pilot (Mode C veil within 30 NM: requires mode C transponder)
Class B weather minimums:
3 SM visibility
Clear of clouds
Class C boundaries and description:
Generally surface to 4,000 AGL (charted MSL)
With operational control tower (radar approach)
Usually has a surface area with a 5 NM radius, and an outer circle with a 10 NM radius that extends from 1,200 AGL to 4,000 AGL.

Class C operating requirements:
2 way radio communications with ATC
Mode C transponder
Class C weather minimums:
3 SM visibility
500 below
1,000 above
2,000 horizontal
Class D boundaries
Generally surface to 2,500 AGL (charted MSL)
4 NM typically

Class D weather minimums:
3 SM visibility
500 below
1,000 above
2,000 horizontal
Class E boundaries:
Surface: magenta dashed
700 AGL: magenta vignette
1200 AGL: blue vignette
No depiction: 14,500 MSL
Class E weather minimums:
Below 10,000 MSL: 3 SM visibility 500 below 1,000 above 2,000 horizontal
At or above 10,000 MSL: 5 SM visibility 1,000 below 1,000 above 1 SM horizontal
Class G weather minimums:
1,200 AGL and below:

Above 1,200 AGL & below 10,000 MSL:
