Inners control cockpit emergency lighting during a loss of all generators. Ensure they are out of the off position during preflight

Thunderstorm overrides individual lighting controls to illuminate instrument and control panel floodlights full bright

Function of EMER LT switch

A

Off- extinguishes emergency lights (battery packs are being charged)

Arm- Normal position (battery packs are armed)

On- Activates emergency battery packs to illuminate emergency lights

Note- EMER LIGHT switch in the cabin has priority over cockpit switch

Landing light cooling limits

A

Wing landing light motors should be allowed to cool 1.5 mins after initial ext/ret and 3.5 mins after each subsequent ext/ret.

Lights should not be operated in still air for more than 10 mins
