- all day vfr requirments
- adequate source of electrical energy
- a spare amount of fuses equal to 50% of the amount of fuses of that rating
- gyroscopic heading indicator
- when in Northern domestic airspace a means of establishing direction other that magnetic compass
- illumination for all instruments used to fly aircraft
- landing light (when you have passengers)
- position and anti collision lights
- a turn and slip indicator or turn coordinator
