MAX FLAP SPEEDS A 320
Flap 1 = 230kts
Flap 1+F = 215 kts
Flap 2 = 200 kts
Flap 3 = 185 kts
Flap FULL = 177 kts
A COMPLETE IRS ALIGNMENT MUST BE PERFORMED:
- Before first flight o the day
- Crew Change
- When GPS coverage is N/A and NAVAIDS coverage is poor
- When GPS is N/A and ETEnroute > 3 hours.
- LAT between 2 North and 2 South
- For Full alignment: OFF > 5 seconds, then NAV
PACK FLOW LO, NORM and HIGH; When?
A 320 LO :
- PAX < 141
A 321 LO
- PAX < 168
A320 / 321 HIGH:
- For Abnormal hot and humid conditions
(If APU supply and Single ENG = Pack set to HI automatic.)
BAT CHECK cockpit preparation
OFF then ON
10 sec after cycle: check the BAT is below 60 A and descreasing.
(when charging cycle completed the batteries ar disconnected to DC BAT BUS

[BAT 1] [DC BAT] [BAT 2] (Charging finish)
FUEL MODE SEL explain possible spillage
When MODE SEL in MAN and;
CTR TK PUMP 1 and 2 ON;
= Possible FUEL SPILLAGE
WHY?
Because in this configuration the CENTER TANK FUEL TRANSFER will NOT stop when wing tanks become FULL.
THIRD OCCUPANT AUDIO CONTROL PANEL
PA knob - RECEPT
(This allows cabin attendant annoucementes recorded on the CVR)
Proper setting - VOL at or above MEDIUM range.
ALTITUDE REPORT on TCAS PANEL
for RVSM operations select SYS 1 if AP 1 is used, ans SYS 2 if AP 2 is used.
HF TEST on ground
DO NOT transmit during REFUELING
ONLY perform check when no personnel in the immediate vicinity.
PARKING BRAKE
ACCU PRESS —- CHECK
Must be in GREEN BAND. If not use the electric pump on YELLOW to recharge.

YELLOW + GREEN system are pressurized from YELLOW hyd pump. OBTAIN GROUND CREW CLEARANCE before using.
ALTIMETER difference
+/- 20 ft between PFDs
+/- 60 ft between ISIS and PFD or
+/- 300 ft between MECH STDby ALT and PFD
After OXY MASK TEST
Check REGUL LO PR indication NOT DISPLAYED.
Where?
ON DOOR/OXY SD PAGE.
WHY?
This ensure LP valve is OPEN.
(Due to residual pressure btw the LP valve and OXY MASKs, an LP valve failed in CLOSED POSITION may not be detected during the oxygen mask test)
REGUL 1(2)(1+2) LO PR indication
It is in amber, if oxygen pressure on the low-pressure circuit is low (50 PSI)
To complete TEST , CHECK DOOR/OXY sd page
START LIMITATIONS
- MAX EGT for start: 635 C.
- 3 consecutives start cycles
Each cycle is 3 starts attempts
1 min cool down each - AFTER 3 start attempts: 15 MIN cool down
- No EGD of startes when N2 above 10% (on ground)
- OIL TEMP
–> START = -40 C
–> EXCEED IDLE = - 10 C
–> TAKEOFF = 50 C
-X WIND START: 35 KT
ENGINE START 2 minutes run before takeoff, WHY?
TO ENSURE CENTER TANK PUMP TEST IS FINISHED, AS TAKEOFF ON CENTER TANK IS PROHIBITED.
ANTI ICE after start
OAT < 10 C, visible moisture and visibility less than 1 SM
MAX BRAKE TEMP for TO
300 Celcius or
150 Celcius if brake fans have been used.
TO CONFIG
Rudder or Pitch trim out of range
Flaps or Slats no in TO CONFIG
speed brake not retracted
Left or Right sidestick fault
Fuel pumps 1+2 LO PRESS
