Class A
IFR flights only permitted; all flights are subject to ATC clearance and are separated from each other.
Class B
IFR and VFR flights; all flights are subject to ATC clearance and are separated from each other.
Class C
IFR and VFR flights; all flights are subject to ATC clearance. IFR flights are separated from other IFR flights and from VFR flights. VFR fights are separated from IFR flights and receive traffic information about other VFR flights and avoidance advice on request.
Class D
IFR and VFR flights; all flights subject to ATC clearance. IFR fights are separated from other IFR flights and receive traffic information in respect of VFR flights. VFR flights receive traffic information about all other flights. Traffic avoidance advice is given when requested by a pilot.
Class E
IFR and VFR flights; IFR flights subject to ATC clearance. IFR flights are separated from other IFR flights. All flights receive traffic information as far as is practical.
Class F
IFR and VFR flights; all participating IFR flights receive Procedural or Deconfliction service and all flights may receive a Basic or traffic service if requested.
Class G
IFR and VFR flights; all flights may receive one of the services available outside controlled airspace if requested.
