it refers to the collection of data from the appropriate ressources for example surverys, sensors, websites scraping, reasearch, observations, investigations, apis
the three data sets
training data which is also know as learning data sest is used to build the algorithm, the model constantly evaluates data to understand it gigo
validation data is used is used to see how accurately a model can predict when new data is fed in
testing data is used for the final assessment of the model used before producton
data exploration
the dat must be explored, analysed, and arranged systematically for a better understanding
