Agility & Field Testing W9 Flashcards
1
Q
What’s fitness?
A
Overall physical condition of the body.
2
Q
Both ways we’d measure fitness. With advantages and disadvantages for both.
A
Lab Based data collection:
- Advantages are higher validity, control variables & measure preciciously what you want to.
- Disadvantages are low levels of ecological validity & expensive
Field Based data collection
- Advantages are it mimics performance environment (ecological validity), cheaper & more accessible.
- Disadvantages are Cannot control all variable & difficult to claim internal validity.

Q
What makes a good test? (3 answers)

- Validity
- Reliability
- Objectively
4

6
Q
What’s Concurrent Validity?
