What is aggression?
A
Aggression is not a unitary phenomenon, Several systems of aggression types have been
proposed:
• multi-type models, e.g., fear-induced, maternal, inter-male, irritable, sex-related, territorial,
predatory
• two-type, dichotomic models, e.g.,
- reactive (affective defense)
- proactive (predatory attack)
