My fathers works in administrative part of the city hall, and my mom works as a pharmaceutical.

I hope I’m finishing my college, with a good job and fluent in english
What do you have to do in your city?
My city is a small city but I really like to visit waterfalls, museums, libraries, parks.
What do you like most about caring for children?
I like about the connection with the child, the affection and the love

They enjoyed playing board games memory games, playing on playgrounds, hanging out in parks and libraries.
What types of activities do you do with the children to keep them busy?
Manual activities are great to pass the time, like painting, drawing.
What types of games would you teach your host children in USA?
I would teach manual activities such as painting, drawing, folding
Tell me about how often and where do you drive.
I drive everyday in my city, but i often drive on highways
Tell me about a typical day with the children you have cared for. What did you do?
I prepare breakfast
I take him to school
In the morning, I tidy his room and wash his clothes
I prepare lunch
Let’s walks in the library, in playgrounds, parks
I helped with homework
And, end the day with a game and a story
What type of food could you make for your host family to show them something of your country?
I will make brigadeiro, stroganoff,barbecue, sweet rice, feijoada
Tell me about how are you working to improve your English now.
I take English classes, study with my friends and watch series and movies in English.
What do you plan to do when you return to your home country?
I would like to star law school, get a good job, english will help me with that.
What are you most looking forward to when you get to the U.S.A?
I’m really looking forward to getting to know the culture, place and people.
What do you think the hardest thing about living away from home for one year will be?
The hardest thing will be missing the family
How do you thing this year will benefit your future plans?
I believe that with the fluency of English, it will help me in college and for a good job
In your childcare experiences, what aspect did you find to be most challenging?
For me, age is the most challenging. When I was taking care of a one-year-old girl, it was a challenge every day.
How will you create a good relationship with your host children?
I hope to have an affectionate relationship with my host kids, not like a nanny but like a big sister
Tell me about the kind of relationship you hope to have with your host parents.
I hope to become part of the family
How do you react when you are feeling sad?
I like to listen to music to cheer me up, visit a park, eat some food that I like.
Tell me how would you calm a crying child?
Dialogue is very important at these times, I always try to talk to calm down but respecting the child’s moment.
What would you do with the children on a snowy day?
On snowy days, board games are a great option, drawing too, painting.
Describe to me how to make a dish that you enjoy coking.
Brigadeiro. In a pan you put butter, condensed milk and chocolate. Mix with a spoon until consistent on the stove. then you roll it up and cover it with chocolate sprinkles.
Tell me about some of your views on raising children.
For me, respect for the child is the most important thing, respecting her time, her moment, and solving problems only with dialogue.
How would you introduce your culture to your host children?
I would like to teach our games, an our food.
What were some of yours favorite games growing up? Describe the rules to me.
My favorite game are board games, especially monopoly. You buy properties, pay rent, and try to become a millionaire, you win when you become one.
What are some of the rewarding experiences you’ve had in working with children?
The love I get from children is the most rewarding thing I can earn.
Pretend you are telling one of your host children about your favorite holiday tradition from your home country?
My favorite holiday is Children’s Day, it’s not in the US but it’s a very happy and sweet day too.
Tell me about how you would handle homesickness if you started to feel it in the US.
The internet connects people, if I feel homesick, I intend to call and talk to everyone.
Tell me about your favorite children’s movie and why you like it.
My favorite movie was monsters, because it gets cute at the end.
Whats is your favorite childhood memory?
My best childhood memories are at my grandmother’s house playing with my cousins.

I have a good relationship with my family, we are very close

What would you do if your hosts kids started fighting over a toy?
If the children were fight, i will try to understand what happened and the reason they were fighting, to calm and solve the problem only with dialogue
What would you do if a child gets hurt?
First, I would keep calm, I see the wound (ound) , or I apply a bandage, I try to calm the child with dialogue or a toy, but if it is serious, I call the host parents or emergency. 911
In your opinion, what are the most important qualities an Au pair needs to have?
in my opinion, to like children, to be responsible, to be calm and patient
What are your interest and hobbies?
I really like dancing, reading, studying, listening to music, writing

I really like teaching new things, like painting, drawing, dancing
What can you do to entertain a kid?
Craft activities are great for entertaining kids like painting, drawing
What do you expect to learn from the Au Pair program?
I hope to learn a new culture, become fluent in English
What ages were the children you cared for in your previous childcare experiences?
Mary was six months to one year and six months, Bruno was twelve years old and Maite eight years old.
How do you thin children should have fun?
Children mostly have fun with their imagination
Do you think driving in the US will be a lot different?
I think it will be better, the condition of the streets is better
What should an Au Pair be like?
Be calm and patient, and like children

I am a calm person, patient, very creative, love manual activities, like painting and drawing.

I’m a dancer, I dance jazz and hip hip, I’ve taken craft classes, painting, drawing, swimming

Because I am a reliable, calm person who likes children and wants to make a difference in their lives.

I live with my father, mother and sister, we love seeing new places together, our favorite hobby is playing board games and we love to cook together on weekends.

My defect is that I’m a perfectionist in everything I do, I like everything well done and that’s my quality too, because I’ll always do my best

I took care of a one year old girl, an eight year old girl and a twelve year old boy. I was responsible for everything, food, pick up and drop off from school, help with homework, organize toys

I like the monster movie because they make it cool
Why do you believe you are going to be a god au pair?
‘Cause I really like children, and I like working with it

Being a patient person, with a lot of creativity, energy to play with children and make a difference in their lives
