rapidly growing tumor of intermediate malignant potential.
■ AFXis an asymptomatic, solitary papule, nodule, or plaque often resembling an SCC or BCC initially.
■ Occurs in sun-damaged skin on older patients especially on the forehead, scalp, nose,
and ears.
■ Histopathology may show highly atypical and “bizzare”cells that may be con used or more
aggressive neoplasms
■ Treatment is surgical.
