-Israeli’s goal was a Israel without Palestine, they deliberately expelled Palestinians and had started doing this before the war started
-Israelis achieved their goal by violence, intimidation and causing panic
Since 1949, Why do Israelis argue that Arabs font have a right to return to their land
*Israel did not create the problem: the war was started
by the Arabs, who invaded Israeli territory.
- Palestinians were not forced to leave: they left

leaders, who promised them a quick victory and a
triumphal return. - Palestinians were not permitted to return when the
war ended because they would have been a security
threat inside Israel.
*Israel accomodated 850,000 Jewish refugees so Arabs should do the same
*Arab states denied citizenship to Palestinian refugees (making it harder for them to travel or gets jobs) showing the welfare of Palestinians were not their main concern
