Allies
alliance of countries that opposed the Axis during World War II. The Allies were led by the U.S., the United Kingdom, and the Soviet Union.

Organism from whom one is descended.
Arab
People and culture native to the Arabian Peninsula, North Africa, and Western Asia.
Assimilate
To adopt the cultural traits of another group or community.
