Innocent civilians are chased away from their homes in hit-and-run attacks. People were mutilated, killed, and terrorized by rebel groups that had taken over the diamond trade. Labor was forced upon men, children, and women; Since the rule of Europeans, various countries have been involved in war and dictatorship.

Africa was rich in precious minerals and oils and other resources, slave labor was also wanted, the land was also fertile and used to produce cash crops
