1- Draw attention two affixes naturally in your lesson.

2- Give students a pile of words and three columns (Root, , Prefix, Suffix) and asked them to separate them in the columns they belong in.

3- Put a number of cards faced down on a table. On the cards there are words that can be combined with a Prefix or a Suffix. Ask students to pick a cart and say it with the added Affix.

4- Introduce a specific Affix and help students build a word tree by having them list all the words that go with the specific Affix.
