What is a declarative sentence?

A

These sentences are statements and are punctuated by a period at the end of the sentence. For example,

A

These sentences make a polite request, a suggestion, demand, give orders, make a command and they end with period at the end of the sentence or sometimes, they end with an exclamation mark. For example,
