Hypoxia
Lack of oxygen to the body and the brain
Hypoxic hypoxia
Lack of oxygen do the partial pressure
Conscious time levels
FL220 = 10 minutes FL250 = 3 to 5 minutes FL280 = 2 to 3minutes FL300 = 1 to 2 minutes
Hypemic hypoxia
Oxygen is available but is not being transported
Stagnant hypoxia
Oxygen is available but it’s not flowing where it’s needed
Oxygen rich but not circulated
Histotoxic hypoxia
Oxygen rich blood body unable to use
-> Alcohol or drugs in body
Symptoms of hypoxia
Lightheaded
drowsy
cyanosis (fingertips turn blue)
and euphoria
Hyperventilation Symptoms
Hot and cold flashes
Muscle spasms
Visual impairment
Unconsciousness
Cause of Carbon monoxide poisoning
Leak in the exhaust pipe
