Peds: 0.01mg/kg w/ max 0.5 mg (q5 to max of 1.5)

SNHD-P (pediatric dosage of epinephrine for anaphylaxis is 0.01 mg/kg IM of 1:1000 solution with a maximum dose of 0.3mg)

A

IV/IO- 25g (250 ml of 10% Solution)
(Peds: 5ml/kg to max 25g)

For a newborn, give 2 mL/kg of D10W.
For neonates (up to 1 month) and children less than 2 years of age, give 5 mL/kg of D10W.
For children 2 years of age and older, give 2 mL/kg of D25W or 1 mL/kg of D50W

Contra: HS - May cause Heart Attack, Chest Pain, Dizziness, Hypotension

SNHD-P (A single 4mg dose can be given by IM or IV, If no improvement is noted a second and third dose can be given, a total dose of 16mg should not be exceeded)
